Message from the Principal
Dear Friends of La Salle,
My personal mission in education is to develop life-long learners who seek to understand the dynamic complexity and beauty of God's creation. I am inspired to help young people realize their unique role in fulfilling God's promise for themselves and for all of us. High school is an incredible and transformational time in a child’s life. Here at La Salle, we strive to offer not only a rigorous, relevant college preparatory education of the mind but we also work to instill a sense of purpose, an appreciation of the value and dignity of all. We cultivate compassion and integrity in the hearts of the students entrusted to our care. I am proud of the work we do to live up to our Catholic/Lasallian mission of hope in the 21st century.
La Salle is an amazing place, animated by educators who see their role as “big brothers and big sisters” to their students. Our graduates are academically well-prepared to be successful and confident as they progress to the next level of their education. The La Salle community is an involved and dynamic family of athletes, musicians, actors, scientists, writers, leaders and exemplars of engagement. We embrace a diversity of learners within our classrooms, creating inclusive and supportive programs to enhance student achievement. We maintain a focus on financial accessibility as a key strategy in attracting a broad spectrum of students and families to our campus.
I urge you to explore our website to learn about our school and our programs. I invite you to attend a community event, drama production or athletic competition to see our wonderful students in action. Please schedule a visit to speak with one of the many leaders we have in our admissions office, counseling department or on the administrative team. We delight in sharing our story and we are excited to hear yours!
I believe that La Salle offers the best high school education possible; an education of the mind and the heart, rooted in powerful teaching and learning. This does not happen by chance. We intentionally develop this exceptional experience through clearly defined, well-supported curricular and co-curricular programs. We emphasize the importance of student-teacher relationships, nurtured by educators dedicated to their calling to serve. This is our commitment and our goal, to provide an outstanding education for young people. This is how we fulfill God’s promise for all of us.
In the Spirit of De La Salle,
Andrew Kuffner, Principal
