AP and honors classes - Students are challenged and have the opportunity to graduate with one to two years of college credit with 12 Advanced Placement and 13 Honors classes offered at La Salle Prep.
STEM Academy - Our Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Academy allows students to design and build hands-on projects, explore cutting-edge applications, participate in competitions, and apply for apprenticeship programs in STEM related fields.
Competitive athletic program - Students are encouraged to be involved in more than one sport with 47 athletic teams and clubs, including 27 at the varsity level. We have 31 state championships.
Spiritual life is rich and multi-dimensional - With a heritage of service and prayer, the tradition of St. John Baptist de La Salle calls us to a common mission: to live in the presence of God and to value all of humanity. 65% of our students are Catholic and we welcome students of all faith backgrounds.
Travel - La Salle Prep students are encouraged to push their limits, across town, around the country and across the globe. Opportunities include: Harvard Model Congress, the Canyonlands Field Institute in Moab, Utah, Costa Rica, France, Germany, leadership conferences in California, service immersions in Arizona, Montana, and Oregon.
Showcase of performing and fine arts - La Salle Prep students participate in many co-curricular activities and competitions including musical productions, art shows, concerts, and dramatic performances.
Economically and culturally diverse - The La Salle Prep student body is rich in cultural and economic diversity. 26% of our students identify themselves as culturally diverse. In addition, approximately 53% of families receive financial aid.
