Tuition, Scholarships & Financial Aid

2013-14 Tuition & Fees

La Salle Prep's tuition and fee structure is designed to encourage participation and maximize the co-curricular opportunities available to our students. We feel it is important that every enrolled student has the opportunity to participate fully in the various co-curricular offerings available at our school. As such, La Salle Prep does not charge individual 'participation fees' for athletics, clubs, classes, or electives. Instead, these costs are shared by all students via their Tuition & Fees contract. This makes it more affordable for students to choose several co-curricular options each year and tends to provide parents a more clear understanding of the actual cost associated with a La Salle Prep education.

La Salle Prep Tuition & Fees* for the 2013-14 School Year are as follows:

Tuition......$11,688Enrollment Fee......$300ASB Fee......$300

* Tuition & Fees do not include books and supplies.

Financial Assistance: A Lasallian Philosophy

Central to our Lasallian mission is the desire to provide a human and Christian education to the young, regardless of their financial means. In partnership with various foundations, individuals, and corporate benefactors, La Salle Prep works diligently to provide tuition assistance to students from economically marginalized families as well as from families of other socio-economic backgrounds who may be facing financial challenges that adversely affect their ability to pay tuition.

In 2013-14, La Salle Prep awarded $1,800,000 to 52% of our student body. These awards ranged from $500 to $11,688, with an average grant size of $4,750 per recipient.

Please note the new process for applying for financial aid: Current or prospective students may request financial aid by completing the Private School Aid Service (PSAS) form at www.psas.org/4406.aspx. PSAS evaluates applications based on data provided. Applications may be submitted at any time, however, the annual deadline for incoming and returning students occurs in January with the majority of the funds dispersed in March for the following school year. Financial Aid applications for the 2014-15 school year are due January 17, 2014.
