Thank you for participating in La Salle's 20th annual Student Fundraiser! The wreath and apple ordering period is now complete. Late orders will not be accepted. However, we have ordered extra wreaths and apples to be sold at the November distribution on November 17th and 18th. If you forgot to turn your order form in or want to purchase more wreaths or apples, we encourage you to come to the distribution to purchase your items.
Why do we have a Student Fundraiser?
At the core of our Lasallian mission is our commitment to providing an excellent education to all students regardless of their financial means. Proceeds from the sale of wreaths and apples help bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of education, an annual gap of approximately $1 million, providing every family a $2,305 subsidy. The Student Fundraiser, the only school-wide student fundraiser, is a vital program that allows La Salle to provide financial assistance to over 50% of the student body.
Due to the success of the Student Fundraiser and other annual fundraising efforts, La Salle has been able to cover more and more of the fundraising gap. The addition of the Jazz apples in 2010 has more than doubled our net income from the Student Fundraiser. Last year was the most successful Student Fundraiser to date, with a net profit of over $80,000!
Help us reach our goal of $85,000 this year by participating in the Student Fundraiser!
How does the Student Fundraiser work?
Each La Salle Prep student is required to sell a minimum of 15 ‘units.’ One unit is defined as one wreath or swag, nine feet of garland, or one box of 25 apples.
At the end of the selling period in May 2014, families who have not met their 15 unit requirement will be billed for the remaining units at $18.00 per unit. For example, if you sell 10 units, you will be billed $90 (5 outstanding units x $18=$90.) Families who have questions or concerns about their ability to sell their required units should contact Gina Maraist.
How do I order wreaths?
Wreaths, garlands, and swags may be ordered online here or by a paper order form, which can be found at the bottom of this page.
Wreaths may also be delivered to a customer’s home via UPS for an additional charge. All UPS orders must be placed on UPS order forms. (See order forms below.) UPS orders will be shipped the week after Thanksgiving. UPS orders cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, or foreign countries. Wreaths that are to be shipped must include a UPS order form, which can be found at the bottom of this page.
All wreath order forms must be turned in to a student’s 3rd period class on Thursday, October 24, 2013.
Wreaths, garlands, and swags will be available for pick up on Sunday, November 17 from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Monday, November 18 from 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. La Salle’s offices will be closed during the Thanksgiving holiday from Wednesday, November 27 to Sunday, December 1 so wreaths, garlands, and swags will not be available for pick up during that time.
