Performing & Fine Arts Department
The purpose of the Fine Arts Department is to teach students to invest time in the creation of concepts, values and insights which are individually meaningful and socially constructive. A Fine Arts education seeks to recreate a student's perception of their relationship to the world community.
The arts are subject disciplines which emphasize the use of the intellect as well as the development of sensitivity, creativity and the capacity to make reasoned, aesthetic decisions. It is the contention of the Fine Arts Department that an individual's artistic talents are God given gifts and that it is the duty of Catholic education to develop those gifts through better appreciation of Art, Drama and Music.
