Dear La Salle Prep Community,
We are proud to announce some exciting changes for the 16th Annual La Salle Golf Tournament, the single largest fundraiser for the Alumni Association.
The 2013 tournament will take place at the Oregon Golf Club. This premiere venue will provide the backdrop for a wonderful day of golf. La Salle Prep will have the course for the entire day, allowing golfers extra time on the driving range and on the course. Families will be invited to join in for the post tournament dinner and awards ceremony. While the tournament is presented by the La Salle Alumni Association, this tournament is open to all who would like to play.
The tournament this year will be held Monday, July 22nd with an arrival time of 9:30 am and a shotgun start at 11:00 am. Cost is $165 per golfer. The decision to move to a new venue and day of the week is response to feedback received by former and prospective La Salle tournament golfers. We believe the opportunity to play at a course that is not open to the public along with having the course to ourselves will grow your experience. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, we expect to enhance the amenities you have come to enjoy at the tournament.
The Alumni Association is grateful to the many benefactors who partner with the Alumni Association and its mission; to facilitate meaningful lifelong relationships between alumni and the school and provide resources and opportunities to strengthen the stability and growth of La Salle.
We thank those of you have golfed in support of La Salle students in the past and we hope you are able to join us again this year. For those of you who have not had the opportunity to play before we look forward to having you become part of a tradition that helps grant financial aid access for students to become part of our Lasallian community.
