About La Salle Athletics

The Interscholastic Athletic Program at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory is an integral part of the school's mission of educating the whole student. Interscholastic sports complement the school's basic physical education program and operate under the school's philosophy and mission statement.

Every year, the majority of La Salle students participate on one or more of the school's 35 teams. Players learn, through athletic competition:

  • To think independently and as team players;
  • To value group ideals, to succeed and to excel;
  • To attain high moral and Christian values;
  • To achieve self-discipline and emotional maturity;
  • To understand the value of rules;
  • To respect others;
  • To pursue fairness in human relationships.

Sports facilities at La Salle include one gymnasium, a football/track stadium with lights, softball and baseball fields, two soccer fields, four tennis courts and a weight room.

The La Salle Falcon teams compete at the 4A level in the Capital Conference under the auspices of the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA). Coaches maintain team rules and policies. These policies must be consistent with those established by the school. In the event of conflicts, consult the Director of Athletics. For more information, please feel free to contact Brian Crawford, Director of Athletics at bcrawford@lshigh.org.
