Wigwam Sox host Junior State Division 1 regional playoff
The Wigwam Sox Division 1 Junior State Baseball Association team for La Salle Catholic College Preparatory hosted a best-of-three game series from July 24-25 against Willamette High School. Wigwam won the East Metro league championship with a 10-2 league record (13-12 overall) and was the top seed from District 6. Willamette was the third seed from District 9.

Student "buddies" sought for Chinese exchange students this summer
American Education and Exchange Program is looking for students interested in being a buddy for students from China beginning Monday, July 19 through Wednesday, August 4. Volunteer student buddies will attend a variety of fun events with their Chinese exchange student.

OSU coach hired as La Salle's first boys' lacrosse coach
La Salle Catholic College Preparatory has hired Joseph Jenkins as the coach of the school’s new boys’ lacrosse program. Jenkins comes to La Salle Prep from Oregon State University, where he was the Beavers’ lacrosse co-head coach for the 2010 season.
