 What: The La Salle Prep Barnes & Noble Book Fair fundraiser promotes literacy while at the same time raising funds to support our educational programs. On Saturday Sept. 11 La Salle Prep supporters are encouraged to shop at the Clackamas Town Center Barnes & Noble using the book fair voucher with the ID # or by simply verbally stating La Salle’s name at the point of purchase. Barnes and Noble will then donate back to La Salle a percentage of the net proceeds from the bookfair. Purchase your required classroom or recreational reading, birthday and holiday gifts and support La Salle at the same time! A purchase made of any of the following items will count toward the book fair total: Books, DVDs, CDs, magazines, toys, games, cards and food and beverage items from the Café. The purchase of gift cards, Barnes & Noble memberships, textbooks, and magazine subscriptions are not included in book fair totals. Barnes and Noble welcomes the use of gift cards to make purchases that will count toward book fair totals.
Barnes & Noble representatives will be working with our teachers to provide copies of all required classroom reading novels. Take advantage of the ease of one stop shopping while at the same time supporting La Salle Prep.
If a title is not in stock, the store will order the items online from the store to ensure La Salle receives credit for the book fair purchase. Out of town supporters (family, friends, alumni) can support the La Salle book fair by calling the Clackamas Town Center Barnes & Noble and making purchases over the phone. Purchase Barnes & Noble scrip from your local Portland/ SW Washington Metro Area Catholic elementary school to use at the La Salle Book fair and double your impact- support the Catholic elementary school’s scrip program and La Salle’s Barnes & Noble Book Fair at the same time.
