Brian Devine named Vice Principal for Student Life for 2010-2011

Milwaukie, Ore. – La Salle Catholic College Preparatory is pleased to announce that Brian Devine, La Salle’s Campus Minister and Lasallian Educator the Year, is the new Vice Principal for Student Life.

“Mr. Devine is respected by students, staff and parents for his strong faith-based leadership and his passion for forming our students. In his new position, Devine will have primary responsibility for student management and discipline and he will continue to lead La Salle’s Faith, Service and Community (Student Activities) Program by working closely with the coordinators in these three program areas,” said Principal Tom Dudley.

Several staff will not be returning next year. Jim Ruppa and Marilyn Milani are retiring after wonderful careers at La Salle. Jean Abbott, Mike Fanger, Gayle Imran-Sideris, B.J. Dripps and Katie Winning ’99 are pursuing opportunities outside La Salle.

Gayle Imran-Sideris will be remaining as the varsity track & field coach, despite leaving her post as physical education teacher. A summary of all faculty/staff changes and additions for the 2010-2011 school year will be available online in August.
