Winter Sports
La Salle offers five sports/activities during the winter. These are:

2009-2010 Winter Sports Recap
Girls' Basketball The girls’ basketball team finished third overall in the Capital Conference with a 16-8 overall record and an 8-4 record in the Capital Conference. The Falcons dominated the Seaside Seagulls 61-38 in the 1st round (click here for the box score) for their first state playoff victory since 1995. La Salle lost their 2nd round match-up at Ontario 58-50. Junior Megan Hays and senior Laura Atherton were named to the Capital Conference's First Team, while Carlyn Chavez '11 (pictured right), Kylee Maughn '11, and Elle D'Amore '11 were named to the Honorable Mention list.
Swimming The La Salle swimming team competed in 10 events at the 2010 OSAA 4A/3A/2A/1A State Championship Meet at Mount Hood Community College during the weekend of February 20-21. The boys finished 13th, while the girls finished 15th. Senior Dylan Dripps highlighted La Salle’s performance by finishing third in the Boys 100 Yard Butterfly and Kathleen Cheney '10, Alexa Bryant-Capellas '12, Katie Hendrickson '10, and Alison Burros '10 who finished 6th in the Girls' 200 yard medley relay.
Cheeleading On February 18, 2010, La Salle’s cheer team competed in the Co-ed Division of the OSAA Cheerleading State Championships at the Memorial Coliseum. La Salle and Stayton were the only two teams in the field of 16 from the 4A classification; the rest of the field was from the 6A and 5A classifications. The Falcons finished 13th overall with a score of 39.25.
Ski Racing Elise Christoferson and Emily Krahn competed in the State Ski Racing Finals for the Three Rivers League on March 4-5, 2010. Elise finished 13th overall, out of 129 girls competing, for combined Giant Slalom and Slalom. Despite losing a ski on a turn, Emily Krahn finished 78th out of 129.
Boys' Basketball The boys’ basketball program missed out on a spot in the Capital Conference playoffs. The Falcons (11-13, 4-8 Capital) were led by sophomore Daniel Lashbaugh (2nd Team All-Capital Conference) and senior Austin Thul (Honorable Mention).
