Visual & Performing Arts
La Salle's Visual and Performing Arts Program encourages all students to explore their artistic gifts - from canvas to curtain call.
MUSIC
• Students blessed with musical ability can participate in concert or Jazz band and guitar players are welcome in beginning or advanced guitar ensemble.
• For students whose instrument is their voice, La Salle's choir will perfect and display their talents through concerts.
• Inspire Falcon teams and fans at football and basketball home games in La Salle's pep band including the always popular drum line.
THEATRE & PERFORMING ARTS
• Students showcase their talents in the highly acclaimed and always anticipated fall play and spring musical.
• Students can also participate in a production where students are responsible for all aspects - from producing and directing, to starring in the show.
• The Drama Club and Film Production Club allow students who excel at performing arts to perfect their craft.
ART
• La Salle's Art Program encourages creative expression, teaches technical skill, and enhances appreciation of works of art through three challenging courses: Art Foundations, Visual Communications, and Design. Advanced students have the opportunity to pursue Independent Studies or do AP Art.
• All students' work is displayed every May in one of the largest student art shows of a school this size. Up to five hundred pieces of art are shown on the third weekend of May, combined with the Spring Concert.
• The Art Club is a weekly Open Studio which allows art students and non-art students time to work on independent projects in any media.
• La Salle art students have gone on to collegiate majors in Animation, Art History, Art Education, Architecture, Automotive Design, Fashion Merchandising, Graphic Design, Illustration and Sculpture.
